Samantha Jade says she gets a new wardrobe every three months.
Samantha Jade is no clothes hoarder.
The adorable pop star confided to "PerthNow.com.au" that she cleans out her wardrobe every three months:
“Jules Sebastian, my stylist, taught me that if you haven’t worn it chuck it out”, she said, “Because you don’t need it or you end up wearing the same things. You’ve got all these clothes and you end up going back to that black top or those jeans.”
Jade donates her excess clothes to the "Australian Red Cross" foundation.
The pint-sized star said she has trouble finding clothes because she is so petite:
“I’m a size four to six and i’m five foot, so everything’s too long or huge”, she said, “It’s so hard to find things that fit and make me look womanly, that i don’t swim in, “So i’m always at the tailors trying to get things taken up or taken in.”
Jade said her top style tips are a good blazer and a good pair of heels:
“A good blazer can either dress something up or actually dress something down”, she said, “If you wear a really nice dress and you chuck a blazer on, it really kind of dresses it down.Or if you’re wearing jeans and a tank top, put a blazer on and it dresses it up. Always make sure they’re tight on the arms and a good length, either cropped or a long one.”
The Perth-born songstress also recommends a pair of “go to heels.”
Jade performed on the runway at "Target"’s "Telstra" Perth fashion festival at "Forrest Chase" shopping centre yesterday.
