Samantha Jade joins the cast of Channel Nine's "Celebrity Apprentice Australia" season 6

From a television presenter to an Olympic swimmer, Nine have announced the 16 celebrities set to star on the new season of "Celebrity Apprentice Australia".

The network released the full line-up for the competition on sunday and it features a mixture of famous and controversial participants.

The 2022 contestants include motivational speaker Turia Pitt, "KIIS FM" national drive hosts Will and Woody and Olympic gold medallist Bronte Campbell.

They will appear alongside "Neighbours" star Jodi Gordon, retired rugby league footballer Benji Marshall, "Real Housewives Of Melbourne" star Gamble Breaux, "Married At First Sight's" Beck Zemek and Hollywood actor Vince Colosimo.

Pop sensation Samantha Jade, comedian Jean Kittson, presenter Darren McMullen, supermodel Jarrod Scott, secretary to former New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian Carla from Bankstown, "The Block's" Ronnie Caceres and former National Rugby League star Eloni Vunakece are also set to star on the show.

Last month, Lord Alan Sugar travelled from the UK to Australia during the pandemic to film the new series of "Celebrity Apprentice Australia".

The business mogul revealed he was quarantining on the 21st floor of "The Sheraton" hotel in Sydney for two weeks after arriving down under.

While Nine confirmed to "Daily Mail Australia" that Lord Sugar's travel and accommodation is all within the guidelines for exemptions, which are outside the current international arrival caps, it didn't stop some critics from sharing their opinion on social media:

"How are you allowed in when 10's of thousands of aussies are still waiting to be allowed home?", one wrote.

"Lucky you - been separated from my daughter and grandsons for almost 2 years and yet here you are bragging that you are there. It's amazing what having money can get you!", a second added.

However, others were quick to defend the media mogul, praising him for coming over and boosting the Australian economy by working on the popular series:

"When you're bringing money and possibly jobs to a country, they open doors to you, Lord Sugar is there on business i would expect and not a holiday", one fan wrote.
