Sammy Jade takes to the stage in Proserpine.

She was the first female winner of "The X Factor Australia" and this week she was live on stage at the Proserpine state high school.

Samantha Jade performed during a tour of Proserpine and Bowen, spreading a Christmas message with the Salvation Army.

This morning she appeared on Seven's "Sunrise" program in a live cross from Bowen.

During her stop at Proserpine, she took part in an on-stage q&a before singing songs with the help of Proserpine state high school students.

Growing up, she told the "WhitsundayCoastGuardian", she had instilled in her virtues of charity and helping those less fortunate that herself:

"I am a huge fan of "The Salvation Army" and what they do, so when they asked me to come to the Whitsunday, i didn't think twice,” she said, "I had heard about cyclone Debbie and the devastation it left and i am happy to help wherever i can. Growing up we always gave to heaps of charities, my mum was very much about "give and you shall receive".”

Jade said she had been bombarded with testimony about how incredible the Whitsunday community has fared in the face of adversity:

"And how everybody got together and that is how everybody is okay. It's so important for the community to all pull in together and help one another”, she said.

The fact that she performed at an all-purpose hall a stone's throw from a cyclone shelter which housed displaced victims of Debbie at the neighbouring primary school was not lost on the "Aria Music Award" winning artist.

Jade marked the five-year anniversary of winning "The X Factor Australia" by performing "What You've Done To Me" for the Proserpine high school students.

From 05.30pm today Jade will take to the stage at the Bowen sound shell to perform a selection of songs and Christmas carols at a community barbecue event:

"We are going to have food and drinks and spread the Christmas cheer, it should be fun”, she said.

"Friends4Youth" campaign: Samantha Jade’s mission to help cancer sufferers.

Aussie pop star Samantha Jade has opened up about her family’s battle with cancer while visiting teenage cancer patients at the Sydney children’s hospital.

The former "The X Factor Australia" winner, originally from Perth, said losing her mother to cancer three years ago has made her even more passionate about supporting young people fighting the disease.

Yesterday, the "Sony" foundation ambassador said she wants to make a difference, even if its simply bringing a smile to young patients’ faces.

The "Sony" Foundation funds life changing programs for those with special needs, facing cancer and those that have been marginalised from society.

Their "Friends4Youth" campaign raises money for "You Can" centres in hospitals around the country, where teens can take a break from treatment to relax and connect with other patients:

“I love coming to see the kids, they inspire me. My mum had cancer and i understand the journey for the parents, the support they need, and how tough it is. I love being able to put a smile on everyone’s dial”, Jade said, “My mum passed nearly three years ago and she fought really hard. What the "Sony" foundation does is amazing and i’ve been able to see their work first hand and be so involved. I was there for the opening of the first "You Can" centre in Perth in 2013, my mum came with me and it holds a special place in my heart.”

Jade also met with one of her biggest fans, 18-year-old cancer patient Zoie Moore.

After a year of intense chemotherapy, Zoie has now finished treatment for her Leukaemia and will be going home soon.

The teen has big plans for the future, including dreams of becoming a pilot, an events planner or a makeup artist:

“I just finished treatment and i’m so excited, it hasn’t hit me yet because i’m still going through side affects. Once i get home, i’ll be able to take a breath and say: “Yes, i’m on my way to recovery,” Zoie said, “I’m just looking forward to going places i haven’t been able to for a whole year, like shopping, going to the beach and hanging around crowds of people. Being able to drive my car will be so much better than having to rely on my mum and having my independence back will be the best thing.”

"Sony Music Australia" artists, including Samantha Jade, Jessica Mauboy and Dami Im, have donated unique auction items for the "Friends4Youth" campaign including a guitar signed by 22 of the artists that feature on the charity single released last week.

Jade has also donated a red carpet dress. All donations will go towards “You Can” centres around the country:

“All the artists are so lovely and everyone wants to help. For us, if singing a song is what we can do to help, then i’m all for it.”

"The Everest" 2017: "The Everest" race is right on song for Samantha Jade

Aussie songbird Samantha Jade has returned home to Sydney just in time to sing the national anthem at the state’s newest and biggest event.

Jade has spent the past year living in London.

And before that she was based for years in Los Angeles.

Back in Australia, she’s calling the Harbour City home:

“Its nice to be home”, she told The Daily Telegraph, “It really is the best place to live in the world.”

With a racing event to rival the Melbourne cup, Sydney has got even better. "The Everest" at "Royal Randwick" on saturday is the World’s richest turf race with a prize pool of 10 million dollars.

Jade joked that after she sings the anthem she plans to let her hair down and actually enjoy the fun of a day at the races. She said she’s never actually been trackside without a having to work a lot:

“It’s going to be a huge day”, she said, "I am always working at the races, i don’t think i’ve ever gone just to enjoy it. As long as i can remember, i’ve always worked, but this will be fun because i’m just singing the national anthem, so i can enjoy it.”

Jade added that she was currently working on a new record.

Samantha Jade's 3 must-have beauty products.

For a simple AM beauty routine.

For most of us, morning and stress are synonymous and when you’re low on time, you’re probably more interested in conquering a coffee than contouring. But what about when you’re racing against the clock but still want to look, you know, good.

Former "The X Factor Australia" winner, Samantha Jade, knows the struggle. The 30-year-old singer has a long list of things to get done – and not all of them include perfecting winged eyeliner.

After ticking off singer (her new single, "Circles On The Water", is out this month) and actress (she starred as Kylie Minogue in the miniseries "INXS: Never Tear Us Apart"), she can now tick off beauty aficionado. Her first range, a collaboration with "Priceline", "Samantha Jade For Models Prefer", was a sell-out and the second instalment – released last week – is going the same way. The best part? You don’t need to wait until payday to get your hands on it:

“I wanted something accessible. I didn't want to do something that was unaffordable for my fans because my fan base is quite a lot of young girls and i want to make sure they can buy these products.”

So how can you speed up your beauty regime and look extra at the same time? According to Jade, you need three things in your arsenal…

1. Red lip liner:

“Rocking a bold red lip is always a classic. Line your lips first and colour in the whole lip so it stays put. For the line to be really sharp, go around with a brow brush and a little bit of concealer.” We love: "Samantha Jade For Models Prefer" lip kit rouge, 17.99$.

2. Gold glitter:

“Tap on some gold shimmery shadow for an extra bit of sparkle to brighten up your eyes while still being neutral.”

3. Highlighter:

“Always highlight the bridge of your nose, the highest part of your cheekbone and your brow bone. When the light hits those areas you’ll look really fresh and glowy.”

EXCLUSIVE: SAMANTHA JADE SHOWS US EXACTLY HOW TO WEAR HER NEW MAKEUP COLLECTION.

After a sell-out first range, Australia’s pop darling is back with a colourful new collection

When she was a little girl, Samantha Jade’s mother asked her what she wanted as a present:

“Lip gloss. My mum said the first thing i bought when i was little was a lip gloss.”

Whilst other girls her age were preoccupied by dolls and dresses, Samantha’s one true love was makeup:

“I’ve always loved it”, Samantha notes, “I love makeup and i love how it makes girls feel.”

It seemed fitting then, that with a successful career in music, she foray into beauty, a World she knows so well and has such passion for. Her first range, a collaboration with "Priceline", "Samantha Jade For Models Prefer", was a sell-out. With success usually comes a sequel, a second act, so her next step seemed a beauty no-brainer:

“I was so excited to even have another collection, honestly that wasn’t promised to us.”

The second instalment of "Samantha Jade For Models Prefer" launched just last week and this time it was punctuated with pops of colour. Available exclusively at "Priceline", the collection includes a rehashing of her greatest hits and some new beauty ballads, including a gold leaf lipstick and a coloured eye palette, which her fans and beauty aficionados will no doubt love. For Jade, it’s all about the feeling; the confidence evoked from a slick of red lipstick or the playfulness from a sprinkling of gold eye dust:

“I think people are beautiful without it, but i know it makes girls feel beautiful and if i can add to that then, i’m doing my job.”

The month is a momentous one for Jade, who has just launched her new single, "Circles On The Water". In a "GraziaMagazine.com" exclusive, Samantha shows us exactly how to wear her new range in classic Samantha Jade fashion, through the bat of an eyelid and a big pout. And whilst she’s more of a lipstick girl now, lip gloss will forever be in her beauty bag – isn’t it in everyone’s?

WHAT’S THE INSPIRATION FOR THE COLLECTION AND HOW DID IT DIFFER FROM THE LAST ONE?

“I wanted to make sure this one had a little colour in it, because the last one was the first one and it was nudes so everyone wasn’t scared by the range. It was approachable and everyone loves the Bondi bronzed look in Australia so that’s what we went for. With this one we decided to introduce colour, not too crazy though, we’re introducing a red lip because i think every girl looks amazing in a classic, glamorous, old-Hollywood red lip. Also some eye shadows with a bit of colour, eye shadow colours that are hot right now, like the burgundy and blue is really making a big comeback, so we’ve introduced that as well.

IS THERE ONE TREND YOU LOVE FROM THE COLLECTION?

I am loving the burgundy eye. I think it’s beautiful on every eye colour and suits everyone. It’s an intimidating eye colour in a palette, but if you just want to use it in the crease with gold, or if you want to use it all over it’s nice – and always keep your lip nude.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL TRICKS OR TIPS?

With the Sparkle Dust, if you want a sheen, add a tiny bit of water to your finger. If you pat it on straight it’s a little more glittery, and if you add water it’s a little shinier.

DID YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR KIND OF GIRL IN MIND WHEN DESIGNING THE COLLECTION? A MUSE OF SOME KIND?

I’m inspired by the everyday girl. I listen a lot to what people who have bought the collection and who listen to my music say, so when we’re looking into what the colours are and how it feels we always go back to the comments of people. The feedback was really good, but people did say they wanted to see more colour so we’ve taken that on board. They also wanted a lip liner so that’s why we’ve got the lip liner in there. And i love lip liner! That’s the first thing i put on! At least i’ve progressed to putting lipstick on with it – my 15 year old self didn’t, she would only line the outside and not do anything on the inside –  so i’ve grown from there. Bringing back the strobing was also a big thing too, there’s a really nice highlight palette for every skin tone in there.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANYONE WEAR THE COLLECTION, WHO WOULD IT BE?

Beyoncé, for sure!

YOU CAN ONLY WEAR ONE MAKEUP LOOK FOR THE REST OF YOU LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Definitely a nude lip and smoky eye, but a gradual smoky eye! It would be light from the inner corner and then only at the end would you start adding black, just in the crease, for that cat-eye look.

LIPSTICK OR GLOSS?

Lipstick.

BRONZER OR BLUSH?

Bronzer.

FOUNDATION OR TINTED MOISTURISER?

Foundation for me, because of what i do.

BROWS OR LASHES?

Probably need more eyebrows, but i’d go lashes!

BURGUNDY EYE

SAMMY SAYS…

“Always do your eye shadow first, because you don’t want any spillage under your eye area or cheeks, especially with a colour like burgundy.”

STROBE

SAMMY SAYS…

“Always highlight the bridge of your nose, the highest part of your cheekbone and your brow bone. It’s for lifting, so you want the light to hit and highlight those areas. I’m a big highlighter – who isn’t!”

RED LIP

SAMMY SAYS…

“Always line your lips first and colour in the whole lip, that way you’ll never get the bleed, or when it just goes away in the middle and you’re left with just a liner. Use the lipstick as kind of an overcoat. With a red lip, definitely blot afterwards with a tissue. Also, if you want the line to be really pronounced and really sharp, go around with a brow brush and put a little bit of concealer.”

Samantha Jade on Gold Coast to perform at Robina town centre today.

Pop starlette Samantha Jade will sing while holiday crowds supper at Robina town centre today before she heads overseas on a songwriting sojourn.

While many artists turn their noses up at free performances in shopping centres, "ARIA Music Award" winner Jade is more than happy to give back to the people who helped catapult her to the top of the pops:

“That’s where you meet the people who buy your records, who keep you in the job”, she said yesterday, “You have to draw in the crowd. We always have a great time. It’s fun performing up there for them.”

Jade, in town to promote her new single, "Circles On The Water", will play "The Kitchens" at Robina from 01pm.

"The X Factor Australia" 2012 winner relocated to the UK earlier this year, but has been back on home soil for an australian tour, with shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Cairns:

“I’m from Perth and a lot of people wouldn’t come to Perth, so i don’t want them to feel like they’re missing out”, she said.

The shows followed Jade’s debut tour of the UK earlier this year, which saw her invited to perform with Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy.

A notoriously hard worker, Jade has clocked up a collective 81 million streams, released a single with Pitbull, starred as Kylie Minogue in the network Seven's miniseries "INXS: Never Tear Ys Apart" story and released her debut album, "Nine".

“If you want to stay relevant you just have to be up for working all the time,” she said.

She’s also set to launch her second cosmetics line with "Models Prefer" on june 22nd, after her debut collection sold out through "Priceline" Australia within weeks:

“I’ve always loved makeup — I was the go-to girl for everyone’s makeup growing up. I was always doing make up for my mum and my friends, so that was always a dream of mine.”

Jade will pack her bags to fly out for the US this weekend:

“I’m going to LA and London to do some songwriting and hone in on what my direction is and write some new songs”, she said, “I’ll be working with a lot of different producers and writers. Songwriting’s like a form of therapy.”
