Jade, whose mother Jacqui Gibbs died of cancer in 2014, will also perform at the annual "Pink Hope" gala at "The Star" casino on june 17th 2021.

Samantha Jade to star in Nine's "House Of Bond" miniseries

Alan Bond’s life story the subject of a Nine miniseries starring Samantha Jade, Johnny Ruffo and Ben Mingay

The life of the late Alan Bond is to be played out on the small screen in a miniseries starring Samantha Jade and Johnny Ruffo.

But it’s "Packed To The Rafters" and former "Wonderland" actor Ben Mingay who has been given the lead role.

The "House Of Bond" will chart the rise and fall of Mr. Bond, who died at "Fiona Stanley Hospital", aged 77, almost a year ago after open-heart surgery.

In similar fashion to the "House Of Hancock", the story of iron-ore magnate Lang Hancock, "House Of Bond" will delve into the high-flyer and convicted fraudster’s life of fame and fortune.

The mini-series will co-star "Red Dog" actor Rachael Taylor as Diana Bliss, Mr. Bond’s second wife who committed suicide in 2012. "Neighbours" actress Adrienne Pickering will star as “Big Red’’, Eileen Bond, whom Mr. Bond married in 1955 and divorced in 1992. The late english businessman Roland “Tiny” Rowland, who exposed troubles in Mr. Bond’s business empire in the late 1980s, will be played by Sam Neill, who also appeared in "House Of Hancock".

Nine has yet to revealed who Jade and Ruffo will be portraying, but the station says the western Australia pair will feature alongside "Underbelly" actor Gyton Grantley and character actors Anne Looby, John Howard, Roy Billing, Paul Gleeson and Jack Campbell.

"House Of Bond" will be a rags-to-riches tale charting father-of-four Bond’s rise and fall as a “Ten Pound Pom”, who became a national hero for winning the America’s cup and national disgrace for his central role in the western Australia nc scandals of the 1980s. It will question whether Bond was the hero or the villain.

"House Of Bond", which is being filmed in Perth and Sydney, is expected to air late this year.
