"Shine Australia" and Seven have confirmed casting of the key female roles for the "INXS: Never Tear Us Apart" mini-series.
Chart-topping singer and 2012 "The X Factor Australia" winner, Samantha Jade, will make her screen debut as Kylie Minogue.
Joining Jade in the portrayal of the key women in the story of INXS are Georgina Haig ("Fringe", "The Elephant Princess") as Paula Yates and Mallory Jansen ("Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War") as Helena Christensen.
This major, two-part television event is being executive produced by Mark Fennessy and Rory Callaghan, with INXS’s manager CM Murphy as co-executive producer.
Promising an authentic behind the scenes look beyond the music, "INXS: Never Tear Us Apart" will tell the band’s extraordinary and uncensored story, with full access to their archive of music, photography and stories.
"INXS: Never Tear Us Apart" is now in production in Melbourne.
