"Glamour Reel Music" competition

Following in the footsteps of Pink, Ciara has selected three unsigned artists, Paula Campbell, Tiffany Evans and Samantha Jade for the "Glamour Reel Music" competition, which launched earlier this week.

Following in the footsteps of Pink, Ciara has selected three unsigned artists, Paula Campbell, Tiffany Evans and Samantha Jade, for the "Nissan" north America-sponsored "Glamour Reel Music" competition, which launched earlier this week. Fan voting on "Glamour.com" will determine a winner, who will then appear in a video directed by Ciara.

Voting is open through june 8th 2007, the video will premiere in august. Last year, Pink chose the Pretty Boys as the winner of "Glamour Reel Music" and made her directorial debut with a clip for their song "Hello Bonjour!".

Samantha Jade co-wrote a song called "Positivity" for Ashley Tisdale that will be included on her album called "Headstrong", out on february 6th 2007.

It was also co-written, produced by composer, producer Jared Gosselin and songwritter, producer Phillip White.

"What I Got" to feature on NBC's "Friday Night Lights"

 

A new song by Samantha Jade called "What I Got" will be featured on NBC's "Friday Night Lights" season 1 episode 4 called "Who'se your daddy?" on tuesday october 24th, during a scene where one of the character called "Julie" is doing a dance practice, repeating at a dance recital.

The unreleased songs featured are ''Steps'', ''If You Lost Me'' and ''Put Me On, ''Attached'', ''Stupid Mad Crazy''.

Samantha Jade co-wrote a song called "Back Outta This" for Tata Young that will be included on her album called "Temperature Rising", out on august 28th 2006.

Samantha Jade has a new song called "Step Up" that will be included on the "Step Up: Motion Picture Soundtrack" album, out on august 08th 2006.

The song was written by songwritters Wyclef Jean, Jerry Wonder, Diane Warren.

It was produced by producers Wyclef Jean and Jerry Wonder.

It contains a sample of Corona's "Rhythm Of The Night".

Samantha Jade co-wrote a song called "Secret Love" for JoJo that will be included on the "Shark Tale: Motion Picture Soundtrack" album, out on september 21rst 2004.

The "Herald Sun" newspaper reports that 16 year old Samantha Jade will make her australian debut wednesday night at the launch of the Russell Crowe's organized benefit for the "Australian Music" Foundation in Sydney. 

"Affinity West Records" of Los Angeles has invested 1 million dollars in the australian singer and label CEO John Harris hyped the young phenom discovered in a suburb of Perth being compared to Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston:

“She is the best raw talent that we have found” Harris said.

 “She just happened to be from a place we had never heard of. We wouldn’t have put all this effort into her unless with thought she could be a star.”

Jade’s debut single is planned for next month, followed by live performances and the Worldwide release of her album early next year.
